It was a really easy and straightforward process. They were great about scheduling and following up with me, and I got a response quickly. The interview was on Zoom, and then they followed up with an offer and an in-person tour of the firm.

HR reached out via email to set up a Zoom interview. I had a Zoom interview later that week with the HR director and an office Partner. The interview felt relaxed, and I felt like they had a candidate in mind already. They mostly talked about the company and asked about my interests, rather than probing my qualifications. Communication afterward was slow, but I could tell where things were headed.

The interview was really unpleasant. I was told that they require 5 days a week in office but after you gain trust you "might" be able to leave at 4 or 4:30 on a Friday. They have no vacation and no sick days. They call it "unlimited PTO" but that means that you have to work overtime just to earn a day off or be able to stay home if you're sick. The managing partner also told me that their bonus program only pays $20/hr for each hour above 1900. Overall, seems like a very toxic workplace. They also didn't appear to have any female attorneys. I withdrew my application.
