It really depends on the partner you end up working with. Typically, there's more than one interview. It starts with a Zoom call, and then there's an in-person meeting. They're interested in hearing about your background and your reasons for wanting to join Wicker Smith, among other things.

The interview was really unpleasant. I was told that they require 5 days a week in office but after you gain trust you "might" be able to leave at 4 or 4:30 on a Friday. They have no vacation and no sick days. They call it "unlimited PTO" but that means that you have to work overtime just to earn a day off or be able to stay home if you're sick. The managing partner also told me that their bonus program only pays $20/hr for each hour above 1900. Overall, seems like a very toxic workplace. They also didn't appear to have any female attorneys. I withdrew my application.

So for the paralegal role it was a pretty standard interview process. First I met with the office manager at the Orlando office. We talked about why I was looking for a new job and what experience I have as a paralegal. Then they told me about the job, what the duties are, and the salary range. Honestly, it's not much for how much work they expect. You don't work for just one attorney and your caseload will change based on how well you do. Since I have a lot of experience, I was given over 80 cases on my first day.
