Software Development Engineer
It was the usual process for new grad software roles. First, there was a coding assignment. Then, the first interview, which was mostly LeetCode easy questions, about 2-3 of them. After that, a second interview focused on one DP question. I was expecting an onsite interview after doing well in the second round and putting in a lot of effort. The recruiter mentioned they were looking for an onsite date, but the next day I got an email saying the positions were filled. This was really unprofessional, especially since I'd been following up since the day after my second phone interview. They finally responded about 10 days later to say the positions were filled.
- ArrayHopper question
- Strings question
- DP question
Software Engineer
I applied online and about 2-3 weeks later, I got an invitation for an online coding challenge. It was supposed to take 4 hours, but I finished it in 2 hours with breaks. I passed 16 out of 17 test cases. A week after that, a recruiter contacted me to set up a phone interview. The first phone interview was with two team members and it went really well. The recruiter then asked to schedule a second phone interview, this time with the head of the team. That also went very well. A few days later, I got an internship offer. The recruiter was super responsive and helpful, and the team members seemed like great people to work with. It was my best recruiting experience ever, and I was sad to decline the offer.
- The online coding challenge was algorithmic.
- The first phone interview involved simple coding.
- The second interview focused on machine learning and had no coding.
Software Engineer
The interview process was very smooth and they were very helpful whenever I had any questions. The questions were neither easy nor extremely difficult, they were fair. Assuming you have basic understanding of data structures and algorithms, you should be more than able to answer the technical questions. After the interviews, they were super helpful providing in-depth answers to all my questions. In all honesty (and even if I ended up accepting an other offer), the hiring process with Whitepages was the most enjoyable of any other I had before, include Microsoft and Google. They are really interested to hire great people.
- I agreement with the NDA that I signed, I will not share any questions from the interview.
