Behavioral Case Presentation

I had a behavioral interview with the hiring manager, then a take home case study where I had to interpret a data set and suggest actions based on my conclusions. After that, I did a case study presentation with the hiring manager and VP, and finished with a final round behavioral interview.

Behavioral Other

The whole thing took about a month. I got referred by someone I know and had an initial screening chat. After that, I interviewed with a bunch of the main people. It was pretty cool meeting so many different folks before starting, gave me a good feel for what they'd expect from me. I also got a solid vibe for the company culture, which was a big deal for me.

Case Presentation Behavioral

Had interviews with the recruiter and a team member. The process felt very disorganized and the expectations for the role and what they needed were unclear. It's hard to know how they plan to assess candidates if they are unsure of their own needs. It seems like most people hired for the team came from management consulting (like ex-Bain), so if you don't fit that exact profile, there's probably no chance. They talk about diversity and inclusion, but then they didn't even review the case assignment and rejected me right after I submitted it. When I asked if the decision was based on the case study submission, they said the team didn't review it and that the talent pool had gotten more competitive. It's strange they didn't mention this beforehand when they assigned the case. Seems like a lot of junior people without previous marketplace experience are just figuring things out as they go.
