I've gotten past the initial HR and second rounds. I'm currently at the technical stage and waiting to see what comes next. HR mentioned there would be several more stages, and I'm curious about past experiences.

First, I had a call with the hiring manager that involved a mini case study. Then, a tech screen focused heavily on SQL and lightly on Python, also with a mini case study. The next round was a panel broken into four parts: two skill-focused (data transformation, experiment design/execution) and two behavioral, with one behavioral part specifically about interacting with non-technical stakeholders. The final round was low-pressure, mainly for me to ask questions about the role, team, company, and direction. They were very quick with follow-ups, and the whole process from application to offer took about 3 weeks.

The interview process started off super fast, like a day turnaround. The recruiter was super clear about each stage. It was pretty standard: recruiter chat, then a tech screen, followed by two virtual onsite rounds. One onsite was for tech stuff, the other was for soft skills (like a product case study, cross-functional work, and experiment/stats problems). But then things really dragged. They scheduled another leadership interview for a week later and, weirdly, asked for references before making an offer. After they checked references, they mentioned some higher-ups had referred candidates and they were interviewing them. Then, on Monday, they said due to a 'reorg', they weren't hiring anyone. So, no offer in the end. Total waste of my time.
