The interview process at Whatfix begins with a chat with HR, then an online test on JavaScript and aptitude. After that, there are technical rounds where they check DSA, React, and how you solve problems. The last parts are about system design, questions based on scenarios, and seeing if you're a good cultural fit. For roles like Solutions Engineer, you might also have to do product demos.

Whatfix came to our campus for interviews. The whole process had 6 rounds and took about a week. Round 1 was a 30-min 'Know Your Company' round where we got a PDF with company info. Round 2 was a 1-1.5 hour online test on Hackerrank/Hackerearth with 15 JS MCQs and 2 coding questions. Round 3 was a 15-min telephonic extempore round where we had to speak for a minute on fun/general topics. Round 4, a 45-60 min technical round, was split into three parts: Development Skills (3-4 questions), Problem Solving (1-2 questions), and Puzzles (3-4 questions). Difficulty was easy to medium, focusing on DOM manipulation, ad-hoc/linear data structure problems, and easy puzzles. Round 5 was a 45-60 min Business Fitment round with company/product questions, an email writing task, and some behavioral questions. Round 6 was a 45-60 min HR round with behavioral questions. The process was very transparent, exciting, and amazing.

The hiring process at Whatfix started smoothly with a first round that involved a basic DOM manipulation task, an easy problem-solving question, some basic JavaScript questions, and questions about the company and the role. The interviewer was professional and I felt the interview went really well, as Whatfix was my dream company. However, after the first round, HR ghosted me for 3 weeks. When HR finally reached out to schedule the next round within the same week, it got rescheduled three times, with one reschedule happening just 5 minutes into the scheduled time. After 45 days, the second round finally took place. On the interview day, HR called 10 minutes prior saying the interviewer might not be available as he was out of office, even though he had been the one rescheduling multiple times and had viewed my LinkedIn profile several times. Instead of the original interviewer, a panel of three people conducted the interview. HR messaged me during the interview to inform me who was conducting it. One panelist was silent, and the other two only introduced themselves as Senior Solutions Engineers and asked the exact same questions as the first round. I gave the same answers and felt confident. Then, HR ghosted me again for a week before finally emailing a rejection. They stated they were looking for immediate joiners, yet the process took 45 days. This entire experience was disrespectful and unprofessional, involving last-minute cancellations, ghosting, and repeating questions, wasting my time and energy.
