The process was pretty intense, really testing my aptitude, analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and business sense. It made me confident that I'd be working with great people. The whole thing was planned and executed perfectly by HR. Even though it was tough, they managed the timeline and explained everything clearly, shoutout to Remya for that. So, the rounds were: 1. Initial HR chat 2. Hiring manager chat 3. Product design discussion 4. Guesstimate challenge 5. Doing an assignment and then discussing it 6. A behavioral round with the VP of Products 7. Final HR chat (not about salary). Each round felt different and taught me something new.

So I reached out to HR on LinkedIn for a while, and after weeks, they finally called me to set up an interview on the same day. The first round was basically a chat about why I wanted to be a PM, seeing as my resume is all dev stuff. We talked about what PMs do and other things like that. Then, the HR ghosted me for a week before scheduling the next round. The second round was pretty similar, but they wanted to know more about how I'd build a product from nothing. I guess my answers weren't structured enough, and that's why I didn't move on. Also, the HR was super annoying, only replying on LinkedIn after seeing my messages right away.

I went through the interview process for the Senior PM role on the Desktop team. It lasted about 6 weeks in total. There were several 1:1 meetings with other PMs and leaders. All interviews were conducted professionally and covered a wide range of topics. The recruiter, Remya, was very helpful throughout. It was a tough call to decline the offer because of unexpected personal reasons. Otherwise, I'd definitely take a role here, but I have some constraints right now.
