First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WeTransfer.
Senior Frontend Engineer
I didn't get an offer from WeTransfer, but I'll probably try again with them later. They were really open about why I didn't make it, which I appreciate. The job market is tough right now, so it's totally understandable.

Frontend Developer
This was a long and corporate interview process that lasted almost a month. It involved multiple interviews and an assignment. Whether this kind of process should be compensated is debatable. The recruiter made me feel confident I had the job, even hinting at it throughout the month-long process, until the very end. Then, I received a two-sentence email breaking the news.
- How do you handle stress?
- How do you work as part of a team?
Front End Developer
First, I applied with a motivational letter and CV. Then, a recruiter called me for a 20-minute chat about my current situation and motivation. After that, I was given a practical take-home task using js/ts/react. The main requirement was that the code had to be clean and well-tested. Finally, I had an in-house interview with the Product Owner and the Technical Lead (FE). They asked open-ended questions about my motivation and daily work instead of super technical ones. I also had time to ask questions. This last part lasted over an hour and was really interesting and fun. There were supposed to be more stages, but they didn't happen for some reason. I received the results the same evening but no offer or feedback.
