I had a basic interview with the hiring manager, a one-on-one meeting. She discussed the job duties and what the role entails. We arranged the interview via email. I attended a first interview, followed by a second interview with the hiring manager and the head of the Fort Wayne branch. Both conversations were pleasant, and I felt comfortable. I received an offer, but declined it as the position was 100% commission-based.

The interview process at WestPoint Financial Group has 3 interviews. The first one is to get to know your career goals and see if we both want to move forward. We'll talk about the company's history and culture, the training, the support team, and what licenses you need. The second interview is to talk more about the career opportunity, understand your market potential, and answer any questions from the first interview. We'll discuss your marketing plan and give you some homework. You'll meet with an advisor too, not just the recruiter. The third interview is to finalize your target markets and make sure this is a good fit. We'll go over your homework, discuss your experience with it, and confirm you understand the pay, expenses, licensing, and what's expected.

I had a 30-minute online interview with a recruiter first. After that, I got an in-person interview at their office in Greater Indianapolis. The interview ran a bit long, but I found it really helpful.
