I had a 30-45 minute one-on-one chat with the hiring manager. They asked me a lot of questions about myself and really wanted to hear about my passions and what I hope to do in my career.
- What are your career aspirations?
Financial Advisor
Had a phone interview to get to know WestPac, which was mostly behavioral and informational. Then met with the recruiter and a leading advisor. It was a medium-grade interview with harder behavioral questions. I really liked the CEO and the atmosphere he creates. The employees are hard-working and driven to deliver on their services and the process to get there. Passionate, honest, and straightforward. I liked the company and the culture. If you are looking to be a financial advisor this is the place to be!
- What is your main motivation in life?
Financial Advisor
I met the recruiters on campus and got selected for an interview. It was an in-person question and answer session with pretty easy behavioral questions. It's not a salaried job, it's commission-based. After a general interview, they said they'd contact me within the week if I got selected, and I'd meet a senior partner.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Westpac Wealth?
