Risk Analyst
It's a behaviourally focused interview, really looking for alignment with the company's values. If you can give examples that show you fit with their values, you've got a good shot at an offer. They use the STAR method, and having a referral can definitely boost your chances.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment at Westpac?
Risk Analyst
They started me off with a psychometric test and some cognitive questions. If I did well, I then interviewed with some team members. If they liked me, I then interviewed with the hiring manager and the head of the business function.
- Tell me about your personality.
- Describe how you would react in specific scenarios.
Risk Analyst
I applied online and did a behaviour/values questionnaire, then HR called me for some screening questions. After that, I had an interview with 2 team leaders where they asked 5 questions about Westpac values. The next day, HR called to confirm my notice period and offer me the job.
