Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Westfield Insurance.
Intern
The interview process involved two rounds. The interviewers seemed disengaged, and I felt they were putting words in my mouth. They were also observed doing other things during the interview. Ultimately, I was rejected via an automated text message. The questions themselves were easy.
- Could you describe a project where you were involved and took a leadership role?
Intern
The interview process was quite different from previous ones since it wasn't face-to-face, but it was set up very well. You get to interview on your own time and have a deadline to finish it by, with a specific timeframe given to complete each question.
- Tell me about your greatest career achievement.
Intern
First, I had a phone interview with a recruiter who asked general questions. Then, a Skype interview was set up with three people from the department. This Skype interview was very casual, more about getting to know me rather than asking about my past experience. There were no situational questions. It was a very pleasant interview.
- Could you tell me where you go to school?
- What are your learning goals for this internship?
- What sort of things tend to frustrate you?
