First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Western Dental Services.
Receptionist
Found the job on Indeed and applied. Got a call from the manager a few days later to chat about my experience and what I'd expect for pay. Then I had an in-person interview the very next day, it was pretty quick, only about 15 mins. The manager explained more about what she was looking for and asked about my background and future plans. I got the offer about 4 days after that.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Do you find it easy to handle multiple tasks at once?
Receptionist
I went to an open interview/hiring day they were having to fill positions at most of their offices. I was hoping to get a receptionist job. I interviewed with the site coordinator, and it went well. She said she'd be interested in hiring me as a patient care coordinator instead of a receptionist because I was "overqualified" and had prior experience. She really wanted me to work at her site and had me interview with the office manager too. After the second interview, they told me they would contact me within a week if they wanted to move forward. They never did, which I found odd because the coordinator was so keen on hiring me for a different role and said she really liked me.
- What makes you want to be a receptionist at this company?
Receptionist
The whole thing took about two weeks. I applied online and then a week later, a recruiter from the company reached out. She sent my resume over to the manager at the specific office I applied to. The very next day, I got a call to schedule an interview with the supervisor. After that interview, it was about two weeks later when the first recruiter called me back. She said the supervisor wanted to offer me the job. So, I filled out a second application and then the hiring process was complete.
- Can you explain why you think you are a good fit for this position?
- What do you consider your best qualities?
- How would you define great customer service?
