They emailed me to set up an on-site interview and also had me do an aptitude test and a personality test. The manager asked some typical interview questions and asked what I knew about the company, then let me ask questions. I felt it went well, but they never got back to me.

The interview process started with an HR representative who administered a logic test. Following that, I met with team members from the department I would have joined. The interview itself was very positive, involving numerous questions exchanged between us, and I gained a clear understanding of the work environment. However, the challenges arose post-interview. I was informed it might take one to two weeks to hear about meeting with the department manager, which felt like a long wait for a middle management meeting. Approximately nine days after the interview, a company representative contacted me to verify my references. I promptly returned the call and left a voicemail confirming their contact details. After a day without a follow-up, I checked with one of my references, who mentioned that someone from the company had called but abruptly ended the conversation. When my reference called back, he reached an automated message indicating the person was out of the office or on vacation. My impression is that this company has an outdated, old-school approach to hiring, which likely contributed to my not getting the position. The lengthy and awkward reference verification process, especially with my LinkedIn profile showcasing connections and endorsements, seemed particularly antiquated. The company culture also appeared to favor older, middle-aged white men.

HR had me do a test. Then a VP reviewed my test scores. After that, I spoke with several group leaders and assistant group leaders who were also project managers or in similar roles. It was strange because I later got separate offers from different group leaders, but I guess nobody communicates with each other.

So before I even got to talk to anyone, I had to take two tests to see how smart I am. One was like a logic test called Wonderlic, and the other was a math test. After that, I talked to the two team leads for the job. They asked me standard interview questions about my past work and some stuff to get a feel for my personality. They also explained what the job would be like, and that was pretty much it.
