So, first there was like a quick phone screening, you know, just to see if I was even qualified, which was pretty easy. Then they had me do an aptitude test, and told me my resume and stuff would go to the sales manager and general manager. But yeah, I never heard back even after doing well on the test and reaching out to the general manager (who went to my school, btw). Honestly, it was a really disappointing process, felt like they weren't actually looking to hire anyone since that job posting has been up for like, over a year.

Got a text after submitting my resume, they asked for a phone interview. The phone interview was friendly and informative, giving me an overview of the company and position. They asked me about my work experience and some general interview questions. The interviewer made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions. They then told me about the next steps: an email with behavioral and cognitive tests. After reviewing those, a hiring manager would reach out for an in-person interview.

The recruiter was late for our initial call and I had to chase them for an update. The recruiter's questions were pretty basic and they mentioned I'd need to complete two assessments before everything was passed to the hiring manager. This process is frustrating because you only hear back if they want to proceed, not if you're out. The recruiter has since gone silent and is unresponsive to my attempts to contact them. I eventually spoke with the hiring manager, who informed me that the position was filled internally, despite the recruiter's earlier claim of an internal search yielding no candidates. This feels dishonest, and I suspect the recruiter was just trying to meet a monthly quota.

I was reached out to via InMail on Indeed and I responded expressing my interest. I completed two assessments: the PI Behavioral Assessment and the PI Cognitive Assessment. Following that, I had an initial chat with their HR representative. Next, I met with their PM Manager, then a VP, then both of them together, and finally, the whole project team. In total, I dedicated at least 6 hours to interviews and assessments for this role. After my fourth interview and a two-week wait for feedback, they withdrew the job opening but offered to keep my profile for future opportunities. I turned it down because I felt this experience reflected their general treatment of people.
