So there's a lot of training involved. When I was hired, it was a paper application, but now it's a 1-2 hour online application. You don't need boating experience, but it definitely helps. After you apply, it goes to California for review, and then it gets sent to the store you want to work at. If that store's manager is hiring, they'll call you for an interview. The only way you'll get a callback is if your application is marked as 'green'.

I went in for my interview with the store manager. The staff at the front were nice and told him I was there. I had a 1-on-1 talk in his office about my previous jobs, why I quit, and common questions like if I smoke, and what days I could or couldn't work.

I applied online and then went to the store to check in. The next day, I got a call to come in for a discussion about the job. I watched some videos and did some tests, and then I was hired the following day.
