Call Center Agent
For the pay that's offered, it was pretty intense and kind of over the top. It starts with a phone interview to gauge your interest, followed by an initial interview, then a third interview in which I had to do a sales presentation. There was also the skills test that weeded out folks: customer service, computer skills, and technical skills. You basically take that during the application processes.
- Can you explain what customer service means to you?
Sales Associate
The interview process was pretty typical. They use standard questions from a list. I first talked to HR, who acted as a screener for basic competency since they didn't know much about the specific programs. Then I had interviews with the program managers. After that, I got the offer. The whole thing took about 1-2 weeks. They hire fast because of turnover, and their interviews are very by-the-book, sticking to common HR questions.
- Tell me about a situation at work where you had a disagreement with your manager and how you resolved it.
Customer Service Representative
The interview was over the phone and wasn't a big deal depending on the recruiter. It was alright, it really depends on who you're talking to at the moment. The interview will be about your skills and if you can handle the job, especially when things get stressful. You can do well by answering the questions directly and sticking to what the job entails and what you need to do to perform it right.
- Tell me about your previous customer service experience.
Tech Support
The hiring process was really laid-back, almost like a walk-in and get hired situation. They didn't require much experience for the tech support/customer service job. After the interview, I was sent straight for a drug/alcohol screening, and I started working with the company within a week.
- Can you describe your customer service skills?
- Tell me about your availability to work hours.
