Applied online for the designer role, and then got contacted for an in-person interview in Denver, Colorado. I'm from Portland, so I flew out for the interview with the manager. He asked me some questions, and we chatted for a bit. I thought it went really well and liked the store's atmosphere and cleanliness. Since I paid for my own travel, I was hoping to hear back, but he never contacted me. I sent him two emails after the interview - one thank you, and another to check in two weeks later. Still no response, which was disappointing and not how I'd manage. The manager never followed up.

I applied online and then a recruiter called me for a 30 minute phone interview. We talked about standard stuff like why I wanted the job and to tell me about myself. Then I had an interview with my potential manager, where we discussed the role and more standard questions. After that, I got a design project to finish in two weeks. I did the project and then had a final interview to discuss it.
