It was a pretty straightforward and easy phone interview and paperwork process. You gotta pay for the background check and drug test yourself, and some forms need to be notarized. Training is self-paced but with deadlines, and you don't get offered a contract until after it's done. You can work on multiple projects at once. The whole thing needs attention to detail since everything with West At Home is over the phone or email. If you aren't cool with doing and sending in paperwork by yourself without someone there, this job ain't for you.

I applied online on 5/19/14 and immediately got an email to do an online assessment. It had questions about how I'd act in certain situations, like if a customer was yelling, and also some basic math. After passing, I had 5 days to set up an interview, which was a phone call where a computer asked me questions and recorded my responses.

So I filled out an application, did an online assessment and then they emailed me some questions. After I sent those back to my HR recruiter, they emailed me asking me to print a script for the second interview and also asked me to send them my availability for it. I got emailed the time and date they would call me. About three days later they called me. They asked me to read the script and answer some questions about it, which I could use the script for. They also mentioned a bonus of $180.00 after working 60 hours. They asked about my availability, and I said yes to at least 30 hours and mandatory Mondays for four hours. At the end, they said we would move on to a third interview and HR would contact me tomorrow. More to come!
