Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Werner Enterprises.
Logistics Coordinator
The interview process started with a phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting. The in-person part was with three guys who were not very helpful and acted like frat brothers. I definitely do not recommend this. It felt like at least an hour of my time was wasted, and they didn't even explain the job properly.
- Can you tell me about something you're proud of?
Logistics Manager
The interview process involved standard questions about my background and experience. The interviewers were pleasant, making it a comfortable and straightforward experience with no unexpected questions. I enjoyed the process.
- Can you share an instance of a challenging situation you encountered and how you resolved it?
- What is your approach to management, and how would you characterize your management style?
Logistics Manager
Phone screening was first, then a round one video conference with HR. Second round video conference was with the head trainer. Then an offer letter followed a few days later. They contacted me to discuss pay, and they don't negotiate much.
- If you were a part of a car, which part would you be?
