Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wellpath.
Registered Nurse
You start with a recruiter chat to go over the job and pay. Then, you'll have a Teams call with the facility's hiring manager. Finally, there's a tour and in-person chat at the facility.
- Why are you interested in working in corrections?
Registered Nurse
The interview process was fast, nice, and different from what I've experienced before. I wasn't expecting the kinds of questions I was asked. It could have been better, but they had a screening first before scheduling the interview. The recruiter couldn't give me any information about benefits, so I was told to ask the panel during the interview.
- What makes you want this job?
Registered Nurse
I applied for the job twice and was scheduled for a phone interview. Both times, I didn't get a call. The first time, I emailed the recruiter, and she apologized, saying she had a meeting and encouraged me to reschedule. The same thing happened again: NO phone call. It was very unprofessional and disorganized. I wouldn't want to work for a place that treats potential employees like this, as it seems indicative of how things operate there. I'm tempted to email again to see what the excuse will be this time.
- I was never called for the interview.
