Financial Analyst
The hiring process is lengthy and the outcome is uncertain for all candidates. Even if you dedicate significant effort and energy to pass the first round, it doesn't guarantee progression to the next stage. The entire process concludes soon.
- Can you tell me about your salary expectations?
- What skills do you possess for this line of work?
Recruiter
Applied online, and then got an email from the recruiter to set up a phone interview. I scheduled it for 11 am, but she ended up calling at 1 pm, which was weird because I got both email and text reminders for 11 am Pacific Time. When we finally spoke, she didn't apologize or explain why she was late and just started asking questions. After the call, she told me I'd have an interview with the hiring manager the next day at 2:30 pm and that she'd send a confirmation email. But, nothing came. Maybe she changed her mind about me, or just forgot. Either way, it wasn't a great experience.
- What is your experience managing multiple job requisitions?
- Have you recruited physicians before?
- Can you tell me about your years of experience in healthcare recruiting?
Director
I applied online and got an interview invite really fast, like within a couple of hours. The first phone call was good, she asked relevant questions and I felt like I was a good fit. She said the hiring manager would reach out within a week. A week passed and I didn't hear anything, so I emailed her to check. She replied that the hiring manager was on vacation but she'd get back to me. That was over 2 months ago and I still haven't heard anything, even though the job is still posted. I tried emailing again but got no response, so I stopped. It's disappointing to be ghosted, especially when they told me to reach out with questions.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What are your thoughts on our company?
- What is your understanding of the industry?
Registered Nurse
I applied for the job twice and was scheduled for a phone interview. Both times, I didn't get a call. The first time, I emailed the recruiter, and she apologized, saying she had a meeting and encouraged me to reschedule. The same thing happened again: NO phone call. It was very unprofessional and disorganized. I wouldn't want to work for a place that treats potential employees like this, as it seems indicative of how things operate there. I'm tempted to email again to see what the excuse will be this time.
- I was never called for the interview.
