First you'll have a quick chat with a recruiter to go over your interests and what you know about Welkin Health or the industry. Then, an engineer will give you a technical phone screen that'll last about an hour and you can ask questions about working there. After that, it's an onsite interview for 4-5 hours with 4-5 people. Most of the onsite interviews will be technical, covering algorithms and debugging. Welkin Health really cares about EQ and behavioral stuff, more than other places. It's tough to prep for, but just try to be empathetic and aware of your own faults, stay open-minded.

Coding Technical Behavioral Presentation

Olivia got in touch when I was job hunting. A few days after talking to Olivia, I had a remote coding exercise with an engineer in early March. I went on-site about a week later. Olivia gave me a verbal offer the next day and a written one the day after that. Welkin invited me to lunch with the team that Friday. They seemed to move fast and were cool about giving me time to decide.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Similar to another account, I had a remote coding screen then an afternoon on-site with problem-solving, pair programming, and role-play exercises.
  • Three sessions were technical, mostly focused on exercises with brief chats with engineers.
  • Sessions with the engineering manager and CTO were more about past experiences, career path interests, and company/industry questions.

Behavioral Coding

A recruiter reached out to me and scheduled an interview. The technical phone screen had two parts. The first part was about my background and why I'm interested in Welkin Health. The second part was a coding challenge where the interviewer gave me a document that wasn't very clear and didn't explain the question well. I had to figure out the document myself, and they added new requirements as we went. I managed to solve it in the end.
