Cook
The interview process was very relaxed, maybe a bit too relaxed. Team morale seemed good and the managers were very personable to prospective staff. I would say that most of the managers there have quite a lot of varying management styles when it comes to staff who are working there with different staff of all ages and a very varying group of businesses.
- What skills do you believe are applicable to this role?
Retail Store Assistant
It was a pretty standard interview. They asked me about my past work experience, and then some questions about my strengths and weaknesses. They also wanted to know about times I'd dealt with tough situations, how I'd worked well with others in a team, and examples of my problem-solving skills.
- Could you share an example of when you were a good team player?
Barista
The hiring and interview process was good. The manager who interviewed me reassured me about having epilepsy, stating it wouldn't be held against me and I'd be fine since her sister also had epilepsy. I was told they are an equal opportunities employer and was offered a drink while waiting for the manager.
- Is there any illness or disability you think we should be aware of?
