The first contact and scheduling were easy. The main interviewer was good and asked general but clear questions. The peer interviewers were not so friendly. They talked about things not related to the job or me. They didn't want to share info about the job or work environment.

I was called and interviewed by the senior investigator, who is a Psychologist. She talked about the research project for most of the interview. She only asked about my familiarity and experience with SPSS and working with elderly populations.

This was a critical interview process with lots of questions. I was called in many times, for 5 rounds total. But I did get the job offer in the end, so I guess it all worked out. My current boss is a very famous professor, so maybe that's why it was so rigorous.
