First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WEG.
Intern
Initial online interview with the recruiter to present the job (salaries, location, benefits, etc.). Then, a technical interview with coordinators, discussing experience, skills, education, relevant projects, and the candidate's main professional differentiators.
- Why should I hire you over other candidates?
- What makes you stand out?
IT Intern
The process had a few steps like a phone call and an HR interview, an English test, and then some interview rounds with managers from different company sections. In the technical interviews, each section was briefly introduced, along with the tasks involved in the internship. They also asked about my experience and career goals.
- Do you have experience with Artificial Intelligence?
- Tell me about a challenging project you worked on.
Intern
We start by screening your application. Then, there's a first call, either phone or video, to check if you meet the basic requirements. Depending on the role, you might then have technical, behavioral, or case interviews. Some roles also have assessments or assignments to test your skills. For the final interviews, you'll meet with senior leaders or team members to see if you fit with the company culture. After that, we check your references, and if everything looks good, we'll extend an offer. The whole point is to see your experience, how you solve problems, and if you align with our company values before we decide to hire.
- Can you tell me about your current projects?
