Supervisor
The interview process was pretty simple and organized. Right after I applied, they reached out in about two days. The whole thing involved a quick screening call first, then a video chat, followed by a visit to the facility. After that, I had interviews with the HR partner, Director, Senior Manager, and the Hiring Manager. The team was super responsive all through. Any time I had questions about what was next, I'd usually get an answer the same day, which was great. Talking to a bunch of leaders might seem like a lot at first, but it shows they're really serious about hiring. It was a good chance to chat openly with different leaders and get a better sense of what they expect, the company vibe, and how my skills fit the job. Someone gave me some good advice: to do well here, you really need to pay attention to the details and be curious. I actually enjoyed the interviews a lot. My advice to others is just to be yourself, be ready, and have your notes handy.
- What are your thoughts on working in a startup versus a more established company?
- Can you describe how you maintain organization and effectiveness in a rapidly changing and fast-paced setting?
Global Sourcing Analyst
The recruiter was nice, but the hiring manager was really difficult. They acted like they knew everything and kept challenging my experience and correcting me, which felt condescending. The worst part was when I asked about their leadership style, and they said, 'We’ve been talking for so long, don’t you already know my style?' It was super unprofessional and disrespectful. The whole conversation was tense and made me realize the company culture is probably toxic and stressful to work in. Good thing I found out now.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about your past experience?
- Can you describe your leadership style?
Communications and Engagement Specialist
I had a phone screen with the recruiter, who was really nice. After that, I got a take-home assignment asking for three engagement ideas presented in different communication formats. While I've done assignments before, this one asked for my original ideas, which felt a bit unusual. To be honest, I'm concerned they might use my ideas since I didn't get any feedback and the job is still posted. The hiring manager mentioned some problems during our chat, like a lack of DEI efforts, no ERGs, disagreements on business language, and that several C-suite leaders avoid speaking at company-wide events. It didn't seem like a great fit for me.
- Can you present your assignment?
Data Scientist
The interview process started with a HR phone screen. It included a short data challenge on probability, sql coding, and a sql short-answer question. After that, there was an in-person interview that lasted one hour. It consisted of sql coding, an A/B testing case study, and a Tableau task. The interviewer offered a lot of guidance during the in-person session. They had already offered a candidate an offer before this interview.
- Design an A/B Testing experiment to measure a marketing campaign and specify the metrics and duration.
- Outline a prediction model to forecast campaign sales.
- Perform live coding on Tableau to address approximately five requirements.
