First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Webtech Developers.
Software Developer
The interview process primarily consists of three rounds. First, there's an online test to assess technical skills. The second round involves a programming test, and the third round is a personal interview conducted solely by the company's MD. None of the rounds are considered difficult for an average student. The programming test typically covers academic subjects, though sometimes includes different problems, but overall it's an easy process. After joining, there's an additional training period where they evaluate your technical skills in your specific domain. If you perform well, you continue; otherwise, you might be let go even after being hired.

First, an online aptitude test. Second, a written test. Third, a coding round (very easy). Fourth and final round, an interview with HR. This was very planned and disciplined. The initial technical round focused on technical abilities and willingness to go the extra mile. Then, a good interview checked fitment, attitude, and philosophy. Finally, a discussion involving compensation and joining date.
- Can you tell me about your BE project?
Software Engineer
This was a pool campus placement drive at a college. There were supposed to be 3 rounds. The first round was an online MCQ test with 75 questions and 75 minutes. The link provided was dictated by the company person and the platform was terrible. Network fluctuations caused cheating warnings, and some friends got warnings without doing anything, leading to a retest for 35-40 students. My test auto-submitted after only 12-13 questions for no reason. The recruiters were very arrogant and uncooperative, acting like they were from a big MNC and couldn't even organize a simple online test, while students can create AI agents. It was a terrible experience and they wasted my whole day.
