Market Research Project Manager
It was a terrible process. It took almost 5 weeks while they made me do three phone interviews (twice with the same person), three face-to-face interviews, ignored follow-up emails and then finally told me I was unqualified for an entry-level position that I've already held at another company, which to me was code for "We decided to go with someone younger, after they "just heard from the team this morning." Sure you did.
- In terms of the next few years, where do you envision yourself?
Project Manager
I went in for a face-to-face interview and was supposed to talk to 3 people, but some were late and one wasn't there. The next day, the person who sent the first email called and asked me to come back. I asked about the salary range, and she said they don't usually talk about it until an offer. When I mentioned I'd never met a recruiter who couldn't give a salary range before an offer, she admitted she wasn't really a recruiter and was just helping out. She also couldn't tell me if parking was paid for at the office. During the second interview, the person I spoke with was the most honest and told me WebMD was bought by a private company a year ago. They had some layoffs, but employee benefits were guaranteed for a year, which was almost up, so benefits or jobs could change. I appreciated her honesty. I never heard back, which was fine because their lack of professionalism showed it wasn't a place I wanted to work.
- What motivates you to seek employment with our company?
Associate Project Manager
The interview process was quite simple. First, I was given a take-home assignment. After I sent my work back to the interviewer, I was told I got the job.
