Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at WebMD Health.
Technical Product Manager
I had 5 rounds focused on technical aspects and then one with HR. My interviewers were from Europe and the USA. Most calls happened late at night, after 11 PM, because the product team is mainly on the west coast. The HR person set up the late calls.
- What product-related questions do you have?
- Tell me about your previous experience.
Product Manager
First, I had an initial chat with the recruiter. Then, I went in person to meet with the hiring manager and some folks from the design, engineering, and data departments. Finally, I had an in-person meeting with the department head. It was pretty average in terms of difficulty, honestly. It felt more like a conversation, trying to see if I'd be a good cultural fit.
- What makes you want to be a Product Manager?
Technical Product Manager Intern
I applied through college and then was asked about my past projects and how I would approach leading a project. I was also asked some behavioral questions about conflict.
- How would you go about creating an app?
