I applied through an internal channel. After that, I had 3 interviews which were chosen by the hiring manager, according to standard company protocols. Once all interviews were finished, feedback was gathered and an offer was extended. Following my acceptance, the finance department had to give their approval, and I also had to clear a background check.

Had a few phone chats with recruiters, then applied to a bunch of openings. Eventually, a different corporate recruiter reached out to set up an in-person one-on-one. It was actually a great interview, pretty laid-back. Got lots of chances to ask questions, find out more about the job, and talk about my past work. Two days after that, a third corporate recruiter emailed about a group interview happening next week. The whole process has taken about 5 weeks so far, and there's still more to go before they pick someone.

This was a long interview process, I spoke to about 9-10 people over a month and had 7 interviews total. Most interviews felt unnecessary because the interviewers were not relevant to the role or were at a lower level than me. All the questions were basic STAR questions. I received a rejection email even though the hiring manager was in contact throughout the process. It felt unprofessional and I would not recommend it.
