& Process

I went through about 3 steps including a technical assessment. The assessment was a bit longer than expected and unpaid for the time spent on it. There was a panel interview set up afterwards, I would think perhaps to go over the assessment since it was quite long. However, I went through a call with a Business Recruiter who definitely did not care to be on the call, seemed blasé about the overall interaction, and then a pleasant call with the Coordinator and lastly the Technical Recruiter call. All of the interviews seemed to ask the same questions over and over and lacked true substance on what to assess for. Lastly there was a call with the VP, which felt very robotic, the interviewer explicitly said "I have to ask these questions..." which were irrelevant to his roles, and felt almost forced. About a week passed by and I didn't hear back, so I emailed the hiring manager only to be told almost like oops forgot to inform you, you were not selected.. Just some advice, practice better candidate experience techniques, and simple and clear communication goes a long way.

A recruiter reached out and scheduled a video call with the HR manager. The HR manager was friendly and seemed interested. Then, I was given an assignment with a couple of questions to answer, which took about 90 minutes. After submitting it, I had an interview with one of the recruiting coordinators, a business recruiter, and the HR manager again. They mentioned they would discuss internally and if I moved forward, I'd have a final interview with a technical recruiter. Everyone I interviewed with was engaging, welcoming, and informative. I didn't reach the final stage, but I really enjoyed the interview experience at Webflow because everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and engaging. It seems like a great company to work for!

The interview process started with a phone call with the hiring manager, followed by four 30-minute Zoom calls. These final calls were designed to assess various recruiter skills like closing, stakeholder management, collaboration/feedback, and process/communication. I found this to be one of the best interview experiences I've had. The hiring manager was really thoughtful and kept me informed, and the rest of the team was friendly and made me feel comfortable.
