The interview process involved a phone screen followed by three interviews with different managers. The final stage was a presentation to a panel. They asked scripted questions about handling rejection, the sales process, funnel friction, deal sizes, and wearing multiple hats. Honestly, only one manager seemed competent, and none could explain how they're using AI, which makes me question their future despite being ahead of the curve. The compensation also didn't seem worth the risk. I asked for feedback on my interview skills, and the recruiter agreed to a call but then ghosted me. I don't think this company has much runway; marketing might buy them time, but AI will likely make their offerings very duplicative.

Case Presentation

It was about 5 rounds of interviews, and the whole process was pretty structured. I felt like I met with way more people than was needed though. I think it would make more sense to cut down the number of people met with, maybe by half. OR, move the practice discovery call earlier and have some interviews after that. Overall, it was a good experience, but it took more time than I thought it would.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. They missed our first scheduled interview but apologized. We reconnected, had a good chat, and then I was fast-tracked to an interview with a manager the very next day. The interview itself was alright, but it felt like they'd already decided on some candidates and were just going through the motions. I didn't get past that stage, though honestly, the role didn't really appeal to me. The process was quick, but it felt like a waste of time. The only reason I even agreed to the interview was because the recruiter mentioned the hiring manager was interested in my background, but it quickly became clear that was just a generic LinkedIn message.
