Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Weber Shandwick.
Designer
It was a 3 stage interview process, all done over Teams. Started with HR, then the hiring manager, and finally the wider team where we discussed a task I was given. After all that, I was ghosted with no feedback, even though I spent 8 hours on the task.
- What are your sources of design inspiration?
Design
I skipped the screening process for some reason and had just 1 interview with 4 people. It was pretty laid back, but no one explained exactly what you'll be doing. So make sure to clarify what your job exactly entails before you accept the offer. No questions were asked about the company, or why you want to intern here etc. The people interviewing are nice though, so be yourself.
- What programs do you know how to use?
Designer
I found the company online and messaged them for a conversation. After they replied, I went for an interview. The questions were based on my projects, and they asked about my dream company.
