They don't value a candidate's time at all. I had three interviews that seemed really promising, even going up to a VP. They kept the process going even though they knew I was out of the country on vacation, and it took a lot of effort to manage the time difference. Then they just ghosted and didn't reply to my follow-ups about the job status. It's apparently standard these days, but it really shouldn't be after someone spends 4 hours on it. It's rude and will make talented people think twice about whether this is a considerate place to work.

After getting a call from Weber Shandwick, I went in to interview with two leaders. During the interview, I introduced myself and shared details about my past internship work. They asked questions based on my experience to see if I was the right fit. After the interview, the two leaders gave me a basic rundown of what the intern would do and asked me to consider which tasks I preferred. I felt pretty confident I got the internship then.

I applied online and heard back via email about setting up an interview. The first step involved five one-on-one interviews back-to-back, lasting about two hours. A few days later, I got an email saying I'd advanced to the next stage: a writing test, which I had to complete and return. After submitting the writing test, I received a job offer a few days later.
