First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Weave.
Sales Development Representative
My friend at Weave referred me for a job I was more qualified for, but we never heard back, which was unprofessional. Then, another friend referred me for the SDR position. They contacted me right away and I had two interviews in person back-to-back with 4 people. The first interview went well, but the second didn't go so well when they found out I have a relative working at a competitor. I didn't hear anything for a week, and when I followed up, they said they were pursuing other candidates. It's fine, but I was annoyed they ignored the first referral and didn't even send an email response to me or my friend.
- Can you tell me about a time you had to deal with rejection?
Sales Development Representative
Since I didn't have previous sales experience, the interviews focused a lot on seeing if I'd be a good cultural fit. It felt more like relaxed, personal chats. I got to ask about how I could succeed personally in sales at Weave. The recruiter, a sales development rep, their manager, and even the founder provided answers that really helped, backing up their points with how Weave actually supports employees. Every conversation gave me space to ask whatever was on my mind. My chat with the founder was mainly about getting to know each other – my past, my current situation, and my future aspirations.
- What's your approach to staying organized?
- What kind of business would you start if you could?
Sales Development Representative
I first had a call with Maggie, the main recruiter, for about 30 minutes. Later that day, she called me back to invite me for a second interview. This time, I met with a sales leader for a 20-minute interview. Finally, an executive team member conducted a culture fit interview, which felt pretty relaxed and straightforward. I got an offer about a week after finishing all the interviews.
- Can you share an instance where you outperformed others in a specific area of your life?
