Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at We. Communications.
Intern
The hiring process typically has two steps. After your resume is reviewed and deemed suitable, an HR representative will reach out to discuss your interest in the role. This initial conversation usually lasts between 15 to 45 minutes. You can expect to hear back from HR within 6 to 8 days regarding a follow-up interview with management.
- Could you explain why you feel you would be a good fit for this company?
- What makes you want to join our team?
- Can you provide three words that describe you and elaborate on your choices?
Intern
The team was super nice and supportive during the interview. It's a reputable agency and I was stoked to potentially join, but the pay offered was way too low. They were firm on $16/hr, which is just wild, especially after graduation. It seems like a good internship program and the interview itself went great, but the compensation was definitely not up to par.
- Can you share your previous internship experiences?
- What kind of accounts have you worked on?
- What industries are you interested in?
Intern
I applied for an internship in my home city but was contacted by HR about an internship in my college town instead. First, there was a 15-minute phone interview with HR. A couple of days later, I had an in-person interview where they asked standard questions like 'tell us about yourself,' 'why WE,' and 'what's your biggest strength/weakness.'
- How can your classroom experience help you succeed as an intern with our technology clients?
- What draws you to public relations?
