Staff Engineer
So the interview started with an intro, then we talked about projects and tech I've worked on. After that, there were some questions about operating systems and computer architecture, including some assembly language coding. Finally, there was a DSA part with a question that combined trees and graphs.
- Can you explain the integrated graph and tree question you were asked?
Staff Engineer
The interview process involved a telephonic screening first, followed by three technical rounds and an HR round. The initial telephonic round focused on the projects detailed in my resume. The first technical round delved into PCIe concepts. The second technical round covered SV and UVM. The third technical round was about SoC verification.
- Can you tell me about the work you've done as described in your resume?
- Regarding PCIe, how do autonomous width and speed changes function?
- Could you explain the enumeration process in PCIe?
Staff Software Engineer
Two interviews were back to back. First interview had c/c++ questions, puzzles, and project questions. After that interview, I was asked to wait on the call for the next interviewer. They never joined and said they'd reschedule. Seems like I was ghosted, which is unprofessional.
- Could you answer some basic C/C++ questions, such as virtual functions, allocating a 2D array, and bit manipulation?
- Can you solve some puzzles?
- Could you tell me about your projects?
