The interview process wasn't too difficult. I was a bit let down because the job wasn't what I applied for; I thought I was interviewing for a Sports Minded Marketing role, but it turned out to be an Account Manager position. The first interview was a quick and easy Zoom call. The second interview was in their office (where no one wore masks). They mainly asked some basic questions about me and explained the job details. The interviewer had only been there for six weeks and told me the job involves going door-to-door to sell AT&T Business services. After getting an offer, I was hesitant and decided to work for one day, but I quickly realized it wasn't the right fit for me. The starting salary is 25k plus commission, with potential for increases based on performance. It wasn't the job for me because I have a college degree, and this role isn't what I studied for. However, if you don't have a degree and are good at talking to people, it could be a great opportunity because the people there were genuinely nice, helpful, and energetic. It wasn't about them; it just wasn't the right fit for me or what I expected when I applied.

I really loved the interview process. The first round interview was pretty brief, but you sit down with some of the management team, and they tell you about their culture and what they do on a day-to-day basis. If you're lucky, you get invited back for a second round interview, or somebody takes you out for coffee and breaks down the whole business for you, including the pay scale and benefits.

This interview experience was a bait and switch. They advertised an Account Manager role with a $42,000 starting salary. However, upon arrival for the interview, it was revealed that the initial position is Account Representative with a weekly pay of $300-$500. The Account Manager role, which they initially advertised, is entirely commission-based. It's frustrating when companies mislead candidates to get them in the door.
