Product Manager
The whole process was super professional and quick. The recruiting team kept me in the loop the entire time, and I really liked how everything went. The only bummer was not getting clear feedback after the final stage and not getting an offer. The feedback I did get wasn't detailed enough for me to actually learn from or fix anything, and even though I asked for more info, I couldn't chat with the right person about it. I get that they probably can't give everyone super detailed feedback. But since I made it all the way to the end after a bunch of steps, I feel like it would've been fair for the hiring manager to hop on a quick call to give me some more specific and useful feedback.

Product Manager
It started with a recruiter call, just some basic questions about my background and why I'm interested. After that, I had a half-day onsite with four senior product people. One of the onsite interviews involved a case study, and the very last interview was just a casual chat with the hiring manager. I assume there might be background checks and an offer down the line.

- How would you approach optimizing our supply chain network?
Product Manager
The interview process at Wayfair was really confusing, and it was never clear what was going on. Recruiters would sometimes ghost you, then suddenly reappear to say they hired someone else even though you were still interviewing for the role. They gave a lame excuse that this is standard hiring practice at Wayfair. It's also possible to apply for one role and end up being interviewed and offered a different one, which can happen mid-interview. It's pretty wild as a candidate, feels really unfair, and you have no idea what they're actually looking for. I wouldn't recommend Wayfair to others in the future.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe a situation where you experienced failure.
- Share an instance where you made a decision that was unpopular and went against others or a senior leader.
