First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wayfair.
Analyst
This was probably the most unprofessional process I’ve ever experienced. The recruiter call and 1:1 were fine, but the panel interview was where things got difficult. They had to reschedule the panel multiple times. One instance was when I was already in the waiting room, and after 15 minutes of waiting, the system kicked me out because the interviewer never showed up.

Analyst
So first there was a SQL test, then an HR round where they asked basic questions and introduced themselves. After that, the manager interviewed me with a mix of behavioral and technical questions, all about my resume. Then came a long case study, about 1.5 hours, where I had to solve a business problem with a small dataset in Gsheets, come up with insights and visualizations, and present it. Finally, there were 3 rounds of 1:1 interviews with leadership/execs.

So the interview process for the Senior Analyst role started with a recruiter screening. Then there was a technical assessment covering SQL and Python, and also a case study. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager where we talked about my past experience, and this lasted for about 30 minutes. Then came a longer case study session that was 1 hour and 30 minutes. The final round involved two 30-minute behavioral interviews focusing on Wayfair's People's Principles, and then a 45-minute case study.
