It was a really long and tough process, and some of the people I met weren't the friendliest. But, the HR team did offer to connect me with a consultant outside the official interview to discuss the role and help me get ready for the interviews, which was a really great idea.

Behavioral Technical Case

First, there's a call with HR where they'll introduce Wavestone, the practice, and the recruitment process, which usually takes 3 weeks to a month. Then, you'll have a 1-hour video call with a Junior Consultant. This interview involves introductions, discussing your background and career aspirations, and reviewing a booklet about Wavestone. They'll assess your ability to act as a trusted client partner, present impactful results with confidence, structure your communication, prioritize information, and synthesize. They also look for intellectual curiosity and the ability to step back and analyze experiences. After that, there's an interview with a Senior Consultant, followed by a final interview with a Partner, which includes a case study presentation.

I was referred by someone and I pushed to get the hiring process done quickly, which I managed to complete in under two weeks. I had 4 interviews, including a role-playing exercise and a case study that I had to present to a partner. Everyone was very supportive, and the HR representative gave me feedback after each interview. There was also a 'Wavestone Connect' event where I got to meet my future colleagues.
