First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wavestone.
Analyst
The interview process involved several stages. It began with a 30-minute call with HR to get acquainted and prepare for subsequent interviews. This was followed by an interview with a consultant to discuss your motivations and the typical work of a consultant. Next, there was an interview with a senior consultant who would challenge your motivation, your understanding of the consulting world, and a case study. Finally, an interview with a partner to further challenge your motivation, knowledge of the consulting industry and the company, and your working style. A case study was also provided to prepare beforehand.
- What is a reason not to hire you?
Analyst
Went through several rounds of interviews with HR and then a consultant. The second and third rounds were with the consultant. It was a pretty standard process, though it felt like you needed to be totally committed to the company's way of thinking to get in.
- Could you tell us about what interests you?
- What makes you want to join our company?
Analyst
3 interviews before hiring: with HR, with a consultant, and with a manager/partner. There was a case study to present during the last interview, followed by a discussion. A debrief was systematically done between interviews with the HR.
- What do you understand by the consulting posture?
