For Wavestone, the hiring journey starts with an online application where they review CVs and cover letters. Then, there's an HR interview to check your motivations, past experiences, and if you fit the company culture. After that, a technical or job-specific interview happens, which includes a case study to assess your analytical and industry skills. Finally, you'll have an interview with a manager or partner, focusing on sales situations, strategic thinking, and leadership potential.

Candidates are recruited directly by the consulting firm's consultants. That's how I was contacted on LinkedIn by a Financial Services consultant from Wavestone who offered me the Account Manager intern position.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The recruitment process is as follows: First, a call with a recruiter, then a face-to-face interview with a Junior Account Manager, followed by another interview/case study with a senior manager. Finally, a motivational interview with a member of management. My experience was generally mixed because the interviews are unnecessarily long and complex (expect 2 hours per interview). Although I wasn't selected, I appreciate the candidate follow-up from HR, but I regret that the discussions and questions were too 'school-like' and not focused on the targeted role during my interview.
