First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Watch Station International.
Sales Associate
It was pretty standard, the interviewer was really laid back. You should definitely know about the company and if you've got customer service experience from before, be ready to talk about how you tracked conversions.
- Could you share why you're interested in working with us?
- Could you give me an overview of yourself?
- In your prior positions, how did you go about tracking conversions?
Sales Associate
It was a straightforward group interview. There were four of us, including the store manager. She was really friendly and had a good sense of humor. She started asking the same question to three of us, and it was like a rapid fire. I felt very confident with my answers. After the interview, she told us about company details and employee discounts. Finally, she asked if we had any questions for her. This was my very first interview in Canada, and I was very happy with it.
- The manager asked me about various situations. One question was: if I were in a situation where I had little knowledge about a product and my manager was busy with someone else, what would I suggest to a customer?
Sales Associate
I applied in-store after I helped an employee fix a watch and then told another customer about the watch specs. I emailed my resume to the manager the next day. She called me two days later to set up an interview. I went to the interview and got hired three days later. Since it was during the holidays, I didn't get much training on the sales floor, but I picked things up fast because of my prior experience and the job was pretty simple.
