First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Warner Music Group.
Analyst
I went through four interviews over four months, with long gaps and slow responses from recruiting. The recruiting team seemed uncoordinated; once I showed up for an interview only to find the interviewer gone and the recruiting manager had quit. The interviewers were friendly, and the vibe was relaxed, but they ended up canceling the job opening.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Analyst
The interviewer kicked things off by asking about my resume and past work history, specifically how it connected to the music industry. It was a really relaxed and informal chat. I then chatted with three team members about the job requirements and the daily tasks involved in the role.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
Technical Analyst
So the recruiter reached out to me first over the phone. Then I had a phone interview with the director, and after that, I went in for an in-person interview. The last step was another in-person interview where upper management was also present.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
