Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Warner Bros. Discovery.
Sales Graduate
We did an online Hirrvue video interview where we had to explain why we wanted this role and company. Then, there was a task to write about a recent advertisement we liked. After that, we had an online video call with the team and other candidates. We were given a small case study and had to prepare some excel sheets.
- Can you explain your motivation for applying to this role?
- Which WBd character do you see yourself in?
- Tell me about a recent advertisement that caught your attention.
Ad Sales
It was pretty easy, just around 20 mins. We talked more than they asked me questions. They went over the internship program. It was a phone interview and they said they'd get back to us in 2-3 weeks.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- What's your experience?
Sales Operations
It was an average process, with two interviews with my supervisor and the manager. The supervisor acted like the CEO to impress the area manager. They asked about the media landscape in the region, which wasn't directly related to the job. The whole hiring process took about a month. They use background check companies to make sure your dates are correct.
- Can you introduce yourself?
