Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Warner Bros. Discovery.
Recruiting Coordinator
I initially applied for a different role, but after not being selected, the company kept my info on file. About a week later, they emailed me about a temporary position and asked to schedule a phone interview. During the call, the recruiter explained the responsibilities of the temporary role and mentioned that while the team is currently remote, they're considering a hybrid model. I followed up the next day but haven't heard back, so I assume they've moved on with other candidates. Honestly, I wasn't super keen on a temporary job anyway. The recruiter did say the contract could last up to a year, but it's probably unlikely.

Technical Sourcing Recruiter
The interview process was really well organized and thorough. Each interview had a specific focus, and all the interviewers were clearly prepared and focused on making it a good experience for me. I always felt like I knew what was going on and where I stood in the process. I liked that there weren't any personality or logic tests because I don't think they really help much in evaluating someone. I got good feedback at the end, which made me want to keep going until the very end.
- Describe a situation you faced and how you handled it.
Talent Acquisition Coordinator
I got an email from a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to set up a phone screen. After that, I had two back to back interviews with 2 managers 2 weeks later via video call.
- Tell me about a mistake you made, how you handled it, and what you learned from it.
