I applied to Wargaming and they reached out a few days later for a call. It was presented as an HR screening, but it was more about skills and project management approaches. HR said they'd get back by the end of the next week but kept delaying with excuses about screening many candidates. After over a month, HR contacted me again to see if I was still interested. I agreed to another call. We scheduled it for Tuesday, but on Monday evening, they asked about my salary expectations. On Tuesday morning, they cancelled the interview just hours before, saying they didn't want to waste time on non-shortlisted candidates. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful, especially since they could have just rejected me earlier. They could have rejected me after the first interview and avoided contacting me again, only to cancel the next day. It was unprofessional, lacked transparency, and showed no respect for people's time.

The interview process started with a chat with the Talent Acquisition Partner, which was really helpful and pleasant. I learned a lot about the Prague office and shared my background. They even sent me a guide for moving to Prague and info on benefits afterwards. Next, I had an interview with the hiring manager and their associate, which felt a bit odd because I was hoping for a more private, one-on-one conversation. The hiring manager asked many questions, but they were straightforward and directly related to my experience and the job. A week later, I was told they decided to look for someone who could bring not just influencer marketing skills but also a network of contacts and partners. This last part wasn't mentioned in the job ad or during the interview with the hiring manager.
