First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ware Malcomb.
Project Manager
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and we had a brief phone call. After that, they scheduled another interview with the hiring team. The process was pretty standard, except for a BIM test in Revit that they had me take to assess my project manager skills. The test had some issues: the shortcuts were changed without telling me, which was a problem since I'm used to the default ones from years of using Revit. This made it hard to work fast. Also, connecting remotely to their computer via Zoom was really laggy and frustrating, making it difficult to perform tasks efficiently. It wasn't a good way to test my skills in the software.
- Could you tell me about the project types, like Core&shell versus Interior fit out, that you've managed?
- In terms of budget, resources, and schedule, how did you handle project management?
- What's your experience with business development, including working on proposals and interviews?
Project Manager
I spoke with a Director and a senior executive. They really emphasized the company culture at Ware Malcomb, how they approach business, and their genuine dedication to helping employees grow. They made it clear there are no limits to how far you can advance here, and they actually follow through on their promises.
- What would you say you can bring to our team?
Project Manager
The first interview was a phone interview. The talent specialist was late and did not call in. They sounded clueless about the position and was very rude throughout the interview. It was one of the most unprofessional interviews.
- Could you describe the types of projects you've worked on?
- What is your current salary?
